YOUTH SOCCER
Recreational Soccer Registration for players 3 years of age and up.
LCR partners with Columbus Soccer Organization to offer fall recreational soccer for players 3 years of age and up. The league includes the “Little Kickers” program for the youngest players and league play for older players. Registration begins in June. Teams are typically formed in late August with practice beginning in September and league play starting late September or early October.
The league is open to all players regardless of where they live, skill level, or experience.

Rain Out Policy:
Little Kickers & U6: Will not be made up if rained out or cancelled.
U8 Boys & Girl, U10 girls: October 30th, if necessary, is set aside to make-up rained out matches. U10 boys: TBD
U10 and Above: Tuesday or Thursday games that are rained out or otherwise cancelled will be made up the following Monday. Monday matches that are rained out or otherwise cancelled will be made up either Tuesday or Thursday of that week as schedule permits. Games that are rained out a second time will not be made up.
Participation Medals: All players in Little Kickers, U6 girls, and U6 boys will receive an end of the season medal.
U8 League & Jamboree: Both U8 boys and girls will play a league schedule comprised of 1 match versus each team. A league champion will be awarded and from this competition a league table will be established. The top set of teams in each league (boys and girls) will play a round-robin (each team playing each team) jamboree on the following three nights after the end of the season. The next set of teams will also play in a jamboree in the same format. From this a champion and finalist will be awarded in each bracket.
U8 Girls & Boys Jamboree Schedule
U10 League & U10 Girls Jamboree: U10 boys will play a league schedule playing each team once. In order to maximize playing opportunities for the division a series of interleague matches have been set with the Columbus United team in this age group. Those matches will not count toward the final standings. Medals will be awarded for 1st & 2nd Place. U10 girls will play a league schedule from with medals will be awarded for 1st & 2nd. In order to maximize playing opportunities for the division league play will be followed by a round-robin (every team plays every other team) from which a champion and finalist will be awarded. This will follow the end of the league schedule
U12 League Award and All-Stars: The champion of the league will be awarded. In addition, each team will nominate 4 players to the League All-Stars roster. The head coach of the league champion will have first option to coach the team. If that coach defers it will go to the head coach of the second-place team. The week following the regular season will serve as practice time for the team. The All-Star Matches are scheduled for November 11th and 12th. (subject to change based on schedules).

LCR partners with Columbus Soccer Organization to offer adult soccer for players 19 years of age and up. The spring league is one of the largest in the state and typically plays on Sunday afternoons at the Roger Short Soccer Complex.
